Since graduating from the University of Florida in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations, I have been immersed in the business world promoting million dollar brands such as Newell Rubbermaid and Viking Range Corporation to single-owner businesses, authors, and educators. Following my bachelor’s degree, I worked for an international public relations agency, Fleishman-Hillard, where I learned the art of a press release, pitched national and local media, secured media tours and coordinated editor briefings at international conferences. After three years of editing and pitching, I returned to higher education where I received my master’s degree in professional counseling at Georgia State University with a concentration in play therapy. During my program, I discovered how I could blend my two passions – marketing for the helping profession!
Over the past few years, I have worked with clients to develop their internet marketing campaign and social media platforms. I have found that my unique educational background allows me to translate the market jargon to the helping field and easily relate with what you do. I have worked with such clients as The Institute For Rapid Resolution Therapy, New Pathway To Healing, and RobCares to raise awareness for their brand and establish their online presence in a cohesive manner.
